bliz: I believe it is a fox. They have lots of them thar fox shrines over there. The fox even get their own sushi.

jenn: the jellyfish is very glad you want to be his friend because he is lonely in the cold water and just wants to cuddle. that's all any jellyfish ever wants is to cuddle.

If I wasn’t so busy enjoying the sheer brilliance of the sushi fox, I’d be really disappointed that the statue wasn’t depicting a demon squirrel. You broke my heart & made my day all at the same time, Monkey0.

bliz: they sell a lot of that inari sushi near the fox shrines, for real. it's tasty.

but sometimes it's better not to know the true meaning... I have that reaction a lot when I find the real lyrics to songs. "but it was so much cooler when I thought he was saying 'I hate Bill Cosby and his Riemann hair...'"

jenny: now he's scared you're going to eat him.

the photo is actually taken from the land; he was just hanging out in the water next to that rusty ship in the top picture. there were lots of them in the ocean down there, about as long as your forearm.

LOVE the seamonster, er, jellyfish (quite kissable, you know). Now, is that a grimacing cat or a cranky squirrel statue? (Wait, just saw that you said it was a fox. Ok, I'll buy that.) And those blossoms - how pristine...
