I set the shutter to stay open for half a second or so. Had the camera resting on that frame thing you see in the foreground. Turns out the individual on the right was just standing still, while everyone else was flowing around him.
(If you click it, you'll see a slightly different shot of the same scene (one looked better small and the other big).)
I cheat by setting it on timed exposure mode... then me pushing the button doesn't shake it, so it's easier to hold still against whatever impromptu tripod I'm using.
