kyoto - sometimes you do get a second chance

I clumsily deleted fifty pictures from Kyoto back when I was in Japan; a friend sector-copied the cf card to try and restore them, but that file, too, was lost. Until the day before yesterday, when he found the image of the drive, and was able to reconstruct most of the images. So, while I still had a few images from Japan yet to post, I now have a few more. This is one of them.

It would have been a shame to lose this. It may even be a fave.

anne: I'll add it to the list in a bit.

calvin: thanks.

anybody who hasn't been over to calvin's site needs to get over there.

mysfit: my fish is pretty happy about it, too.

jenn: you know, Kyoto, cherry blossoms, that's pretty much in the dictionary under 'serene'

dee: I like the statue, too. so much nicer than a crucifix.

bh: it's a little crowded in my head already. not sure you really want to move in. (our name is Legion for we are many.)

stay tuned for a few more shots from this batch. I walked up the hill into the Kyoto cemetery.
