oahu, hawaii: fear god power lifting team

these are photos of a road-side restaurant on the east side of Oahu:

the menu was titled: "KEN's Plate Lunch + CHURCH Gym"

Rev 20: 11-15
AND I SAW A GREAT WHITE THRONE and him who sat upon it from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. and I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. and the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. and death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. this is the second death: the lake of fire. and if anyone's name was not found written in the bok of life; he was thrown into the lake of fire.

the shaved ice was delicious.

powerlifting is a form of competitive weight lifting.

the way in which it makes sense is that a plate lunch is a gigantic plate of meat and carbs eaten by gigantic people, and powerlifting is done by gigantic people, and people who paint verses from Revelation on their wall are scary especially so when they are gigantic and lift enormous amounts of weight for fun. so, fear God, and the enormous people who are fond of the Revelation of St. John and picking up hugely heavy objects competitively.

but then, I'm putting words in Jenn's mouth... that's why it makes sense to -me-, anyway.
