i so agree with you on that. i walk around pigeons now, they rule!! :) annoying and great photographs!!
i love your b&w.
A rather plump pigeon, too.
The girl on bicycle photo is GORGEOUS!
lorena: re: b&w, I cheat... unlike you, who takes real b&w pictures, I just shoot color digital, and if I get to the end and I think the color is a distraction from the photo, I just desaturate it. anyway, glad you like it, even if it is cheating.
jenn: maybe they're all the same pigeon...
dee: when the cherry-blossoms are doing their thing, it's hard to take a bad picture. explosions of frothy light-pink flowers everywhere.
Sir, I take my hat off to you. That is probably the greatest pigeon shot I've ever seen. You should find work as a pigeon glamour photographer.
I do have a background working with seagulls and some other carrion birds, but I'm trying to branch out into pigeon work. my agent keeps trying to steer me back into comfortable commercial territory, and I just keep telling him... "look, Ron, a man can only take so many shots of a warty carrion bird picking at the guts of a two-weeks-dead mule deer."
